A superb 12 inch arched silvered and engraved chapter ring and spandrels clock by William Carter Southwark (London).
The arched brass dial with chapter ring and spandrels, polished and silvered dial centre with lovely engraving. Inside centre calendar feature and strike/silent to the arch.
The cabinet with quarter reeded and brass strung columns to the trunk, reeded and brass strung hood columns, moudling to the trunk door and base panel. The clock standing on 2 plinths. Cabinet of lovely colour and patination.
The 5 pillar movement striking the hours on a single bell.
