A lovely late 19th century 8 day duration French carriage clock with hour and half hour strike on a gong and also with repeat function. The lovely design carriage clock brass cabinet reminiscent of 18th century building design. Corinthian reeded columns and Corinthian capitals to the side of the case. Brass carrying handle and 5 glazed window sections. Platform lever escapement and slow fast adjustment. A lovely collector’s example.
