Stunning quality 8 day duration movement with 6 spoke wheel work and twin fusee mechanism with stop work. The mechanism striking the hours on a lovely sounding gong, whilst striking the half hour once on a bell to the top of the clock. Repeat ability to the right hand side of the clock.
Lovely quality example under a glass dome and a marble base. Very large and commanding example. The finest we have seen of this type of clock in many years.
