8 day duration movement of the highest quality. With 6 spoke high quality wheel work. Dead-beat escapement and maintaining power and fine jewelled pallets. The pendulum hanging from a substantial A frame.

The lovely mercury compensated pendulum of the highest quality shown through a glazed central trunk door. The case showing the finest mahogany veneers. Fine colour and patination. Engraved beat plaque at the bottom of the pendulum, and single brass encassed weight. Rare side glasses to the trunk. Early 19th century.
