The arched brass dial with seconds and calendar and strike silent feature to the arch. The dial also with chapter ring and spandresl and finely matted centre. The movement striking the hours on a single bell.

A fantastic arched brass dial ‘8-day’ duration flame mahogany veneered London grandfather clock.

The cabinet with dome top to the hood, reeded and brass strung hood columns, the trunk with quarter reeded and brass strung columns. The long flame mahogany veneered trunk door with fine moulding to the edge. The case standing on two plinths, with a fine shaped bottom plinth.

The two train weight driven movement striking the hours on a single bell.

The arched brass dial with fine matting to the dial centre. Strike silent feature to the arch within silvered and engraved ring. The dial with silvered chapter ring, subsidiary seconds and calendar features and a cartouche bearing the maker’s name. The dial also with chapter ring and spandrels.

A fantastic late 18th century example of top quality London craftsmanship. Perfect for any hall.
