A lovely late 19th century French carriage clock with the dial signed by retailer T Martin Regent Street and Paris. The 8 day movement striking the hours and half hours on a single gong. Lovely design brass cabinet with finely engraved central section revealing circular porcelain dial with Roman Numerals. Brass carrying handle. Platform lever escapement with fast slow adjustment to the rear.
