A rare 12 inch round white dial ‘8-day’ duration twin fusee striking on the hour wall clock by this superb clock-maker John W Carter.
John Carter was Master of the Clockmakers Company in London in 1856,59 and 64 and in the clockmakers company from 1829.
This superb clock has a wonderful mahogany case, cast brass bezel, side and bottom doors to the case.
The fantastic quality spring driven movement striking the hours on a single bell.
A lovely example collector’s clock.
