The cabinet of fantastic choice mahogany veneers and showing good quality London case features. The hood finished with a simple caddy top and single finial, as used by only the finest London clockm akers. The arched 12inch brass dial movement with chapter ring and spandrels and recessed seconds feature and subsidiary calendar.

An outstanding and rare 8 day arched brass dial automaton grandfather clock in delightful flame mahogany veneered cabinet.

The lovely 12inch arched brass dial with chapter ring and spandrels and finely matted centre. The dial also with subsidiary recessed seconds feature and calendar aperture. Rare automaton ship to the arch, depicting the ‘Royal George’. A very famous ship of the british fleet of the 18th century.
