A superb '8-day' duration arched brass dial mahogany Longcase clock. The dial with polished and engraved centre, chapter ring and spandrels, Alexander Dickie Edinburgh  engraved to the arch, a superb Scottish clockmaker. the movement striking hours on a single bell. The dial with seconds and calendar features. The case of elegant proportions and with typical swan neck pediments, bracket feet.
