Bracket Clock by Thos Field - Bath C.1790

A good arched silvered dial mahogany double fusee bracket clock. The cabinet of wonderful colour and patination. The top with three pads and brass bound, superb flame mahogany veneers. 'Fish scale' frework to side frets. Movement striking hours on a single bell and repeat feature. Also with strike/silent feature to arch and calendar to dial centre. Anchor escapement. The maker's name engraved to dial and backplate.
