Bracket Clock by Freres Melly - Londres C.1770

A superb English 'bell top' arched brass dial mahogany bracket clock by this fine French maker. Very unusual for the dial to be in French. I believe this maker worked in Geneva, Paris and London. Engraved backplate, verge escapement, the movement striking hours on a single bell.
