Bracket Clock by Cartright - London Early 18th CENTURY

Outstanding early square brass dial ebonised '8-day' bracket clock with pull quarter repeat. The dial with chapter ring/spandrels, finely matted centre, ringed winding holes, aperture showing pendulum motion to dial and calendar feature. Outstanding engraved and signed backplate, movement with verge escapement striking hours on a single bell and pull repeat of quarters. Outstanding clockmaker.
